4 1/2 hours of sleep last night!
Insomnia: inability to obtain sufficient sleep, esp. when chronic; difficulty in falling or staying asleep; sleeplessness. (dictionary.com)
For sleeping at school this is a really good amount of sleep for me to get. It's leaps and bounds better than the mere 30 min. I've gotten before. I'm tired all the time, but the bad part is, I'm getting use to it. I'm becoming accustom to 4 hours of sleep and I find a way to function with it, but I have a head ache all day long. On days I get less sleep I can barely open my eyes and stand up. It is so hard to pay attention and get work done.
I want to sleep. I'm tired and I should fall alseep, but I find myself just laying there, in bed with my eyes closed. I've tried all sorts of methods to fall alseep. Counting sheep, drinking warm milk, relazing my body one muscle at a time, closing my eyes and laying there, reading, listening to music, holding my arm up in front of me, associating my bed only with sleeping, and so much more. Nothing is working. I do not want to take sleeping pills, but I also don't want this to start taking an even larger toll on my life and well being.
